Open microphone concert

The final concert of the Portsoy folk festival was an open one where anyone at the festival could sign up to do two songs or tunes. This lady gave a fabulous performance of a Victoria Wood song.  Also in this photo is Jan Miller's papier mache "statue" of the legendary traditional singer Jimmy McBeath, who came from Portsoy.  In the Saturday night concert, Ralph McTell kept seeing this out of the corner of his eye, and thinking it was a live person.  In extras, ducklings at Loch Soy - there are usually some at festival time.
