Here we go again!

Can't believe that the season is starting again already. Today I bottled up the elderflower cordial which had been steeping since last Thursday when I picked it in the rain. It tastes gorgeous, really sharp! Think I'll get another batch going in the next couple of days but I need to aquire some more bottles first. Not sure what's happened to all my wee kilner bottles. I may have to visit amazon soon.
Today we walked down to Morrisons and back treating ourselves to a slap up lunch of poached eggs on toast while we were there! The excitement of being retired is almost too much at times!!! The rain kept threatening but more or less held off.
This afternoon I did some little jobs in the garden, some sewing repairs I've been putting off for a while, sent out a letter to the Cursillo members, wrote up some minutes, and generally did lots of admin tasks.
We did some admin tasks on the fridge tonight too and finished off lots of leftovers.
Enjoyed an episode of Chewin' the Fat this evening, so politically incorrect and wonderfully of its time!
