Jack and the crane.

Near where I live they are building retirement homes. They're in the grounds of Langham Towers in Sunderland. Langham Towers is a large listed building that I have blipped before. The site has been prepared now and the first bricks are soon to be laid. The crane is enormous and dwarfs the site. The crane driver gave us a wave from his elevated position.

Langham Towers is a beautiful building full of ornate plaster ceilings marbled fireplaces and beautiful stained glass. I don't know what is happening to it but it is now covered in scaffolding.
