Just a bit late in posting as I had a busy afternoon and evening. I had a gap in between meetings at lunchtime and went back to Pickering's Pasture in search of butterflies as the sun was out. There was not as many as I'd expected, given the weather, but I did eventually find a pair of mating common blues - my first this year. Happy I'd bagged my blip, I went back to an afternoon of Skype meetings. 
My best friend arrived just after 6pm for one of our get togethers with a couple of our colleagues. It was a lovely evening of catching up and Italian food and we finally rolled home just before midnight.
