Running free

We followed river Urpala (Urpalanjoki) for the first time and tried to locate some of it's rapids. We found eleven of them and here is the 9th. It's called Rapid of the mill (Myllykoski), as dozens of other rapids in Finland. We started the tour before dawn and got back after sunset and this stop was the first one to see any other people. A beautiful day and an adventure! -16 degrees and sunshine. I have to visit the river again!
