Peckover House

Visited Peckover House today - lovely gardens as always, but our main interest was the display of very old books originally collected by Lord Peckover. After his death they were sold but some  owners have kindly lent them back for this special exhibition to mark 100 years since Lord Peckover died.  So, why is this not a picture of old books?  Partly because they were all behind glass and in dimly lit rooms but also because - a very rare occurrence, this - I went out without a camera !!!  I used my iPhone to take a shot of the basement kitchen instead.
