Three Tors Tour...

... but the map and magic charm had to come out of the rucsac...
The magic charm didn't keep the rain away - full sets of waterproofs were donned before we left the car - but the bearings Roy took enabled us to hit the top of Yes Tor, follow the ridge to High Willhays, drop down to Black Tor and cross the boggy bit to reach the river. Tour complete - about 8 miles - and it wasn't a mystery one :)

The weather cleared as we left the tops, so once we got back to the car park we decided to walk along to Meldon Viaduct and check out the view from the top just to finish off the day :)
Main blip is Roy at the highest point - High Willhays. Extra is a collage showing Roy at the trig point on Yes Tor, looking across to High Willhays, and the Meldon Viaduct - once for trains, now a cycle way.
Grand day out despite the rain! 6 down, 7 to go :)

Derelict Hearts etc tomorrow!
