Uglier than an ugly duckling!

After my really busy weekend and my usual Monday doing housework, today was a day to relax a bit. My audiobook app, wasn’t working , so I had a trip to the library in Galashiels for it to be reset. I spend all day on a van without a working radio, so would be lost without it.

On the way back, I stopped at Gunknowe Loch to see if there was much wildlife about. I got lucky, there was a pair of coots with four youngsters. Now, I know that in the Hans Christian Anderson tale, the Ugly Duckling was actually a juvenile swan, but I think these wee things win the ugly prize!
