A good year for Iris

The yellow Iris is doing particularly well this year.

One of my ladies was found by her daughter dressed in her best dress and clutching a bouquet from the garden. She was ready to marry a gentleman she has met at the club. We have no idea whom! She is a fairly recent member, has settled quickly and enjoys her day so much that she often turns up, unannounced on days that we do expect her. 

Today was most enjoyable. Lady L popped in laden with posh biscuits. So many, that I had not enough room to store them. I guess we should eat more than usual!
