Chariots of Fire?

When you have a beach outside your classrooms why not use it as a running track? A great sports day on the beach today, despite the chilly breeze and the rapidly retreating sunshine. 

The day had dawned bright and sunny as I headed in to town for an early voluntary shift.  The sun, if not its warmth, hung on long enough for us to enjoy a cycle ride along the seafront before lunch.  

Work took over in the afternoon, but I was sufficiently inattentive to watch the May/Trump press conference broadcast live from The Foreign Office. 

On an unrelated note, I read this evening that more viewers watch the former First Minister of Scotland on his RT channel than those who now tune in to BBC's Scotland channel news programme The Nine.
