OMG

Today I rang Oncology team to report the rash that erupted on my face and was spreading down my neck and across my chest.
Sorry they said we are too busy to see you can you get an urgent appointment with your GP?
The surgery managed to squeeze me in and I drove myself there 2 hours later, GP took bloods, checked rash ruled out shingles, held off antibiotics for now and checked the pea size lump that has appeared under my arm and requested a scan. I see my Oncologist on Thursday morning.
