11yo is in her second week of half-term but today got rained off so we staged a mini board-game tournament.

It was 2-2 after four games, her emerging victorious in Mastermind and Snakes & Ladders and myself coming to the fore in Ludo and Family Trivial Pursuit. In a masterstroke she selected Cobra Paw for the decider, knowing that I wouldn't stand a chance. And I didn't.
