McQueen

It is my birthday today (I'm very old), and I went in to Canterbury to do some clothes shopping. Got some bits and pieces so did quite well, despite the weather.

This evening, I went out for dinner to a great restaurant in Deal with my lovely friends, Barry and Richard. They had bought me an Alexander McQueen scarf. I am so overcome, and delighted. It's a vintage one, which might mean that it is one that was produced while McQueen was alive, but I have always adored his clothes, and was such an admirer of his, so have wanted to own something by the great man for years. I am so touched that they have given me something so precious, or at least precious to me.

The dinner was pretty good too!
