Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle

We’ve had another lovely day. The campsite is great, weather dry until this evening and good places to visit. We went across to Lindisfarne/ Holy Island today and it’s a lovely place. You can drive across the causeway at certain times depending on tide. We saw the ruined priory and the church and Colin walked out to the castle while I walked around the pretty village. We then went to Bamburgh Castle which was well worth the visit. Tonight we had coffee with the friends we stayed with in Carluke as they have a static home nearby where we are. On our way towards York tomorrow. Bamburgh Castle is in extras. Sorry I am not commenting but internet is sparse!
