master study

for 3 days now i've had a terrible headache and it won't go away. after 2 days of "still pushing through" working on my doctoral thesis, i took a day off today to do something completely different.
so this quick master study of boldini's "portrait of a young man" is the result. it's still a very rough state and i'll probably get back to it one day, but for today that's it.
felt really good to get into photoshop and paint again, haven't done that for quite a while.

now i'm off to making tea and watching some old episodes of the actors studio... sewing after that, i guess.
