Christmas baby

Today we went to hospital to visit baby Clara who was born yesterday at lunchtime. She was gorgeous and Olivia was very taken with her little hands and feet and kept wanting to touch her. Dex showed some interest at first but then became engrossed in a Kangaroo jigsaw.

Afterwards we went to the Théâtre Royal du Peruchet to see a puppet show of The Nutcracker. This is a wonderful puppet theatre very close to where we live and dates back to 1929. We decided to go as every year we buy a joint Christmas present for the kids and this year we got them a puppet theatre, so we thought it was an appropriate thing to do today. Looking forward to seeing our own performances at home - no doubt they will feature in a future blip!
