Tug of war

This is an annual contest between two pub teams, raising money for local charities.

The contest usually ends up with one or other team being pulled into the river. This year the river was very high and fast-flowing, so, I suspect they decided it was safer to let go of a losing rope rather than be pulled into the depths. Photos were therefore less interesting than usual.
