Babysitting Day

Eldest granddaughter had a school trip today and our daughter jumped at the chance to go with her and leave baby Emily at home! So I have been down to Doncaster today.

Left home at 7 a.m. and stopped briefly to photograph the wind turbines at Marr - one shot in extras too. Nice and wide for the Wide Angle Wednesday challenge. Not very historical (yet). Thanks to Steveng for hosting

Baby Emily was generally happy - kept topping her up with various fruit and snacks. Sadly she only had 45 minutes nap in the morning, she normally has 2-3 hours. It think the noise of the pavement resurfacing contractors outside disturbed her. Diggers, hoists, lorries, vibrating rollers and shouting … not a quiet day.

Got her down for a nap in the afternoon - so posting whilst all is quiet.
