Wild Wednesday: Feeding Time

I noticed a week or two ago that the new coot chicks had hatched on Killingworth Lake, so my Editor and I had a walk there this morning to grab a blip for Wild Wednesday. Several shots later this is what I came up with. It's rather a "cute coot" - I especially love it's little baby wings held out!
