Tea time

I was helping with the refreshments this afternoon at the cream tea put on by the local branch of the Talking Newsaper for the Blind. We invite our listeners to a sociable afternoon with a short recorder recital, a strawberry cream tea and a raffle. It is an opportunity for us to hear what they want to hear each week. Our local paper now covers a wide area, and a lot of the news it reports is out of the area. We struggle sometimes to find enough material. I'm on editing duty tomorrow, so now knowing their wants, I hope I can produce a good edition. There were no complaints about their tea today, with two or three scones each
