Another update on our mystery tree bought for the knockdown price of a fiver from the garden centre because they'd lost the label (see blips 3rd May & 16th April). It is definitely a pear. I am now hoping that it is a Conference or some other self pollinator, otherwise we will have to buy another pear to pollinate it and then it would no longer be a bargain!
