So Much Room Up there

I'm not sure if you can see this, but it's there. 

Parsnips.  Starting to germinate. 

This is the third attempt. 

None of them have even showed the slightest interest of germinating before.  They all slept.   And not wakened. 

I think the secret is the rain.  The terrific amount of rain in the last seven days, has done it.  Last year's parsnips didn't germinate for months, but towards the end of the year they took off, big time.   I am so looking forward to them. 

In other news.  Carrots, Peas, beans, Sweet Corn, Asparagus, French Beans, Beets, Gooseberries, Blackberries, strawberries, sunflowers, lettuce, corriander, raspeberries are all doing great :-) 


ps - himself is a lot better, not 100% but definitely better.
