Southampton

I'm staying in a little village in the countryside near Southampton this week, mainly due to all the nearer hotels being booked up for the cricket or full of police for the D-Day commemorations.
 
After work we ate together at Pizza Express and then I took a taxi back to my hotel.  I went for a walk out around the village, found a footpath that looked like it used to be a railway line, and went for a walk.  I've been so busy I've neglected my walking recently and I've missed it - it was fun to get out and get some air!

I had a good view of this church from the railway line path.
