Calm Waters

Christmas Day 2012.

After such a horrible few months, I promised myself a low key and stress free Christmas.

The kids woke around 6.45am and came through with their bulging stockings. After showing us the contents, they were quite happy to go back to their rooms for another hour.

A present opening marathon then ensued but they were very gracious in thanking us and watching their faces made the day.

Down to the beach for a walk in the unexpected sunshine and I got a chance to try out my lovely new lens - hubby definitely came up trumps this year!

No present photos, no Christmas Dinner table photos, just a calm sea with a very calm gull taken by a calm Blipper with her lovely new lens.....
