An Old Airman's Life

Gypsy Scoops

My wife and I live at the southern edge of downtown Fort Worth.  The boundary is marked by several railroad tracks and an interstate highway.  The northern edge of the Near Southside has been struggling to revitalize.  Few people lived there.  Most of the buildings were light industrial or office space.  A couple years ago, a brewery and taproom opened as well as a gym.  Then a few bars opened along with a vodka distillery.  When the "sin" businesses flourished, others have rushed in.  A few days ago, Gypsy Scoops opened their second ice cream location.  This is the design on the door.  My wife and I had ice cream there and really like the rich, creamy desert.  Maybe too much.
