To The Homeland

Many many photos taken today and it was a good day! Ambre, my mom, the dog and I took a trip to the homeland: Holland.

We went to a place called Cadzand, near Bruges, but just across the border of Belgium. In fact, this photo was taken on the Belgian side of the river, which makes the division. Cadzand is a long series of beaches we used to go to back when we lived in Holland. I was about 7-8 so I don't remember much, except for crossing this river at low tide! It was really cool to come back and the weather was spectacular so we took loads of shots. I've spent too much time away from the sea this last year or two...

Also, we then went to a town called Sluis, which is nearby. Beautiful typical Dutch town (canal, windmill, church, shops etc.) where we stocked up on some food because its such good value. A kilo of salmon for 10?!

Anyways, I chose this shot because I couldn't be bothered to go through them all and I remembered this one stood out to me when I took it! Hope you all like it.
