Memories
My first culinary memories of Italy, is that one of my Mum who lived there for 10 years has become (then, she passed away nearly 5 years ago) an exceptional cook.
She could cook anything from scratch without a twitch ... she had an amazing taste, my husband says I got it after her.
It melts my heart thinking of her, when she cooked in the kitchen, singing to herself and sometimes dancing, I do that too!
I love everything and anything Italian but most of all I love simplicity ... like here stuffed tomatoes with freshly grated breadcrumbs, parsley, dill, garlic, loads of it actually and Olive oil!!! And oh yes, humongous amount of Parmesan :)
It will be yum when I bake it with just salad and glass of something rather chilled :)
