D-DAY REMEMBERED

In honour of my late Father-in-Law who was one of the D-Day veterans.   Also of a Great Uncle who sadly died in Ypres.. Also in memory of all those there on that day 75 years ago. 

Today I watched the D-Day 75 year special services and held my own little personal two minute silence.

Then this afternoon I just processed the photos that I took yesterday - which took a while as there were 210 of them - whittled down to 133 and only 70 sent to my Facebook page.

Hubby off the pub tonight so will have a look at my photography books again in the vain hope that one day it will sink in.  I understand when I read and practice around the house, but when I go out and about my memory lets me down.
