A buzzy day

The day started with a cuppa in bed, followed by the opening of lots of birthday cards, and one or two pressies too, although Ive had my 'big' present, used it to take this blip :-) and we have our cruise at the end of the month too, after all its not every day you're 60, sshhh dont tell anyone though !!

Hub got me a gorgeous bouquet, a mixture of yellows and whites, really sunny and lovely.

We have been over to Dunham Massey for a few hours this morning, somehow we managed to dodge the many heavy and thundery showers around. Had an early lunch, a walk around the gardens, which is where I spotted this Rogersia, a much brighter pink than ours, but just as covered in busy buzzy's!!
There were plenty of deer around too, we clocked up our 10k steps. I have added a couple of extras from the deer park.

Back home in time for a routine GP appointment for me, follow up after blood tests. All good, cholesterol down, weight down, exercise up, no need for lthose pesky statins, so thats a result :-)

We are off out to a nice thai restaurant with four friends this evening before we go quizzing later.

That will round off an altogether lovely birthday.
