It just had to be.....

.....some poppies today and these ones had all opened during the day.  The rusty barrel just added some contrast I thought.  I listened this morning and will watch tonight.  I find the whole thing very moving.  Although we may all grumble at times, we are so very lucky to live in a free country.

These are usually single poppies but when I got close I saw that they have some doubling of the petals.  See the extra.
