A boat in two halves

Today we cycled from Toulouse to Castelnaudary which was 63 Kms. Our youngest son joined us which was great! It got very windy towards the end and we nearly got blown off our bikes!
En route we encountered this astonishing sight. A very large barge trying to get throughout a lock. It has previously been cut in two to enable such a move! Afterwards we watched the owners putting it together again and it didn’t look as though it fitted properly. Still, as they were going to Toulouse there would have been several more locks to go through!
