Sparrow soloist

I saw this sparrow singing into his microphone on next door's hedge so  no wonder he and his friends wake me at a silly time in the morning!  The mic explains the volume but I don't think that the rest of the gang (the backing group) can be acoustic either. I think that they're competing with the jackdaw gang for volume.

I've been busy getting ready to go to my son's house tomorrow. I normally drive but am going on the train this time. I hope that I'll catch the connections!
