Reverse!

I had a delightful bugfest on this morning's walk with Little Dog but it's this view that I'm saving for the day.  

I spotted a picture from paulwspics journal a couple of months ago which inspired me to explore a new dale off Wharfedale on foot - Trollersdale.

I couldn't quite work out how he'd got the photo from his bike as I'd never seen the view despite knowing the area.  Eventually, I realised that I'd only ever cycled down this road so I made a mental note to reverse it and had the chance to explore today.  It was rather lovely taking the views in on the way up and made for a splendid ride.

Hungry, I stopped for a jacket with cheese as a black cloud loomed in Bolton Abbey and managed to avoid all but seven spots of rain.
