Do not feed

the pigeons states a notice around the Churchyard. These were all young ones and the walls of the Church behind me were covered with them, a real blot on the landscape.
We have been pestered by these birds on our patio (which gets covered in their mess). They live in next door's huge conifer tree - taller than a house so plenty of room, and keep watch for birds coming to our feeders. The feeders are empty at present and for the time being I am not refilling them. The past two days we have had no visits, so one job less - no mess to clear away. The situation eventually will get out of hand in towns and cities the filth and damage to buildings being a huge problem. (rant over).
