...irises.

Singing this morning. Some of the harmonies were a bit too challenging to be enjoyable! Oh dear! Home for a quick bite to eat before MrM drove us in to Berwick so Angus could catch his train down to Newcastle. He's aiming to take some photos of the bridges there before resuming his journey south tomorrow.

Some essential shopping in Berwick, a trip to the DIY store to buy a new washing-up bowl (exciting, eh?), and then to M&S where we couldn't resist the 'two for £10' Italian meal offer.

Late this evening, another short walk on the Common. The yellow and blue irises by the pond are flowering and look splendid, though they're behind a lot of vegetation so it's difficult to see them at all. Unless you climb over the fence...
