A quiet day
It was so quiet in the park this morning, I thought that most of the wildlife was hunkered down, waiting for the predicted winter storm. I only saw one deer, and it was lying down. For most of my time in the park, I didn't see any birds either. Finally some chickadees, titmice, and a woodpecker appeared. This little chickadee landed on the stalk in front of me. Maybe he was curious about what I was pointing my camera at, or perhaps he just thought I should be pointing it at him. So that's what I did. Snow started to fall about an hour after I got home from the park, and it has snowed steadily all afternoon. Tomorrow I can take some pictures in the snow. Hooray!
