Pitch Dark

Happy Boxing Day.....

What a nice day today has been. a long lie in (8am for kids, 9am for me!!).

went for a walk this morning with dogs, Dad, H, C and Debs, then my brother and his family came round.... ate too much for lunch, had an old mans half hour in the chair in front of CBeebies, had some tea, put kids to bed, went for another walk; this time in the moonlight, with Debs and Daisy (we are at my folks so get to spend some time with the 5th member of the family - who resides with them mostly now :-( ), then remembered my blip!

So, my effort at low light photography is before you! Top right in the sky you can just about make out the 'Plough'. I am quite pleased with it. As the title suggests, it was absolutely pitch dark in reality (less for moonlight!)...... a long exposure, low ISO to try and keep the noise down, low f-stop and sunlight setting for white balance and this is the result!!
