D-Day Commemoration

Today, I went down to Washington DC's WWII Memorial to observe a lovely ceremony honoring some of the American Vets. Each of the Allied Countries laid a wreath and had a military representative of their country accompanied each vet.  

After the ceremony, I thought the best way for me to give them tribute was to photograph them individually, spend a few minutes talking with them and their families, and shake their hands. An absolutely lovely group of people.
