THE CYGNET

In the morning we walked into town. In the bookshop we posted two letters and bought one small thing. Then we walked to the harbour to admire the swan family. We saw the parents and the four cygnets which kept near the parents. We entered the platform to have a better look, and to take photos.
In my enthusiasm I had collected a lot of photos, and some four I liked of these. We wandered to the river Weser and sat outside on a couch with the espresso Piet Hein bought in the new cafe. A moment of bliss.
We wandered further, lighted a candle (Piet Hein) in the catholic church, and visited the exhibition in the Carolinum of Annette Maria Volmer with the title Drawing, Painting, Objects. We had been there before, but this second time we observed it with so more attention. 
We learned from our neighbour who we met at the Weserpromenade that next Wednesday the new bridge will be shoven on the new piers. A major event, and we will be still here to watche this happening.
