Farewell to David

Today was David's last day in his job with Norfolk Pension fund. Great for David who has a good future ahead of him with a big consultancy in London. Not so good for us, losing another valuable experienced member of staff.

He received a good send off from all his colleagues, beginning this morning with a beautiful cake made by Lorraine. We all benefited from this with our morning coffee!

After work we met for drinks in The Doghouse, then on to the Cosy Club for a meal and more drinks. Some drifted off home after the meal and the rest of us went to The Mischief for more (cheap) drinks. That's where I left them at about 9. Heather kindly drove Jonny and I home. I hope David makes it home in one piece. He has a big move ahead of him Sunday!

Home by 10.30. The weekend can now begin!
