Close to home, far from new

I've a feeling Mr Brooks may have blipped this in the past. But hey - it didn't have his name on it or anything, so I felt sure he wouldn't mind.

I've often spied this from the road as I've driven past, and thought I'd take a closer look.

It gives you a fine sense of knowing exactly where you are: Haddington 9 miles to the left, Dunbar 2 miles to the right, and Edinburgh 26 miles, er...down. Hang on, that can't be right, can it?
