Normal for Norfolk

Normal for Norfolk is being up to knees in mud, wellies and walking boots, on a walk that's far longer than you anticipated to see the seals at the beach. Normal for Norfolk is a boxing day walk no matter what the weather. The way people get out into the countryside never ceases to make me happy when I get home, I miss the beach when I'm away,

Today we went to Horsey to see the seals. I woke up late after going to bed late for no apparent reason, and Mum hearded me pretty much straight into the car so we had time to go to the beach. I even took a bowl of cereal in the car with me as there wasn't time to eat breakfast like a normal person! When we got there the path was pretty muddy so my Nanny and Mum decided to give up but Ian, James and I made it to the beach and saw some seals... 400+ seals apparently. Highlights included Ian almost falling into a puddle. Came home for a late buffet lunch and passed the afternoon napping. Woke up in time to make everyone a repeat of yesterdays Christmas lunch. Thortons chocolates, chocolate cake and some Cranium board game time made for a lovely evening.
