New kid on the block

Firstly, many thanks for all the stars and favourites for yesterday’s juvenile Woodpecker and apologies for not thanking you individually. I also very much appreciate your support.

It’s rained heavily for most of the day so I haven’t been out for a walk. Instead I’ve enjoyed a nail-biting semi-final Tennis match on ITV4 and am now watching the women’s final.

Once the rain stopped I noticed this very tiny, young female squirrel darting about the garden so put out a bit of food to entice it closer. It wasn’t a bit fazed by either me or the camera and sat munching less than six feet away. I know I shouldn’t encourage them, but they are amusing.
