Alnwick Castle

We left Newcastle in pouring rain for the drive north to Alnwick. Arrived in time for coffee (and shared piece of tiffin) at Barter Books. Good

Then into the town for a look around and lunch at Grannies. I went there a couple of times years ago in working life. Tasty.

Then a walk to see the castle and gardens - we will have to return to go inside. Quick shop for provisions and then to the next Air BNB. All good.
