a square of lavender

I rather like this view of my lavender. 

From reports coming in it seems the oldster's send off was a triumph, inspite of  the hearse and funeral car arriving 10 minutes late, then us having to divert due to a car accident on the way to the crematorium. It's a wonder I had breath for the eulogy, what with all the kittens we had on the way.

We had a few unscripted comedy moments.. such as my hold ups failing to hold up as I swept graciously up the staircase at WHM..

The oldster would have been amused.
