The colours of summer

I always think of the colours of summer as being that bright, fresh green and royal blue skies. Although to be fair we have not really had a great summer so far, other than a few really hot days. Today we had blue skies one moment, and then pelting down rain the next. The skies had big puffy white clouds which were soon replaced by dark ominous clouds. This was taken in between those darker cloud moments.

A quiet day today - Thomas went back to school to study today as he prefers working in the library there. Gavin and I went out for coffee and also did a few chores, so it has mainly been a relaxing day. He is now at the driving range and I am about to do a bit of ironing. We will have a BBQ tonight although it will be eaten inside as it is a bit fresh and windy to be outside.

The topic of conversation in our house right now is puppy names, which unsuitable candidate will replace Theresa May, just how much will Labour ruin the economy if they come to power, will the Lib Dems actually have a clear and focused manifesto...all the parties have problems it seems....and will we be getting a decent summer at all?
