Break first!
"If you break the 'WAIT' first, I'll follow." Is what it looks like `kiri is saying to her daughter Ali.
Certainly a better day weatherise today than yesterday, but it was very windy all day long. Feeling very windswept now - and I've walked up the very steep Cornish hill three and a half times today. The half is because the restaurant we ate at tonight is half way down the hill!
Lovely cliff top walks today and enjoyed watching the athletic surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfer in the choppy seas.
We headed out to Port Gaverne to a lovely little restaurant for lunch, missed the correct turning and ended up driving through the tiny streets of Port Issac right through the centre which as always was full of tourists, as we all know tourists have no regard for any kind of vehicle. It was a little scary and I thought I'd hate to make the mistake with a caravan on the back. Our Honda CRV barely got through the narrow streets as it was.
The restaurant was packed out again tonight with a wonderful 'buzz' about the place. What I love about Cornwall is the laid back attitude to dogs, everywhere is dog friendly. In the restaurant on the surrounding tables to us I counted 7 dogs. 2 Beardies (not ours) 2 Samoyeds, a Labrador, a Pointer and a little X breed. Why other parts of the country get hysterical at the thought of a dog in a restaurant I really don't know!
