All the Fun of the Fair

Off to Ham this morning - strange name for a quaint little village now swallowed up by the borough of Richmond.  It was Fair Day, complete with maypole dancing, heater-skelter and coconut shy. And the rest. Matty decided to spend his small amount of cash on a lollipop almost as big as his head. He  still has quite a lot of it left ....

Then we went over to Al and Nat's for a get-together of N's family. My co-grandma took a picture of us with Em and Matt, it's the extra.  We'd scrubbed most of the lollipop and candy floss off them by then.

To round off his day, M went to a friend's birthday party. They played football - with a proper referee! His team lost but he came home with a medal - and more sweets.
