Smoking

After our experience with the taxi a couple of days ago we erred on the side of caution this morning for our transfer over to Catania Airport. In the event the taxi arrived within a couple of minutes of being called so we were in plenty of time for the bus from Siracusa to Catania.

We were so early we could not check in for our flight so had plenty of time to sit in the sunshine outside and watch Mt Etna smoking in the distance.

Our flight to Milan arrived on time and we spent the night near the airport before picking up a car tomorrow morning to head over to Lake Como.
