A rose between two thorns?

We had such a lovely day today.
After a lazy start we met up with S and J and went over to Portland where we met Jane M with one of their friends. Coffee in one of the lovely cafes there then we went exploring! We walked down to the old ruined church at Church Ope and found the smugglers grave in the undergrowth. Then down toChurch Ope Bay. From there we went to Portland Bill - so lovely In the sun and wind. A final walk at Chesil Cove.
This evening we had a Chinese takeaway at our house with S and J and MIL. What a lovely day.
